Free photo session

I have had this idea in my head for some time and would love to give back because I have certainly been blessed so far in the launching of KandidsbyKorri! I have not been lacking for clients and have been fortunate to have such dear friends who have spread the word about my photograpy. My family has certainly been blessed this year with gaining some financial peace (thanks to Dave Ramsey's Financial Peace University) and seeing firsthand God provide for our every need. It is because of this that I have the desire to give back and give the gift of a free photography session before the Holidays. The way this is going to work is that I need you to leave a comment on here. This coming Wednesday night December 2nd, I will print each comment, place them in a hat and draw the lucky winner. I ask for nothing in return, just let me bless your family with having some family pictures before the holidays. Please spread the word and tell your friends about my little give away! If you win, this is what you will get:
45 minute session
Location TBD
Free disc with edited pictures in color and B & W
Individual and family portraits included

So leave your comment right now!

I love my job!

I just love photography especially when:
I know the family I am photographing.
I am friends with the family I am photographing.
I can make everyone comfortable and relaxed. And they do the same for me.
the subjects are so darn cute!
we have fun together.
That is exactly what happened with this family. Their wishes for our session was to have some pictures for the dad's office of his beautiful wife, and of each of the kids. They did not do school pictures this year so they wanted some of each child individually, and a family picture too. Lastly, they wanted a picture of their daughter with her best friend. We accomplished all that and some extra stuff too. Here are just a few of my favorites.

A sweet wedding

A wedding photographer I am not, although happy with how the pictures turned out, I will not make a habit of photographing weddings unless it is for someone special like these two...

This was a small family-only, private outdoor wedding in this couples neighborhood community. It was a perfect day despite a few sprinkles but it was great lighting for taking pictures. This bride is one of my dearest friends and I am so happy for her and her new husband and they begin their lives together as husband and wife and become an instant family of four. Husband, wife, two adorable children, a family. It was a very special ceremony for more than just them but because my dad officiated the ceremony. I was the photographer, my dad was the minister, and my mom, Michael and our kiddos were guests. Such a fun time and some great pictures too. You may think this is a lot of pictures but I took over 400, narrowed it down to about 300 and then chose my top twenty something to put on here but who's counting right? Enjoy!

They gave the kids each a special necklase to symbolize that they were now a family.

It's picture time!

I had to have a picture with the bride, so Michael took this one.

I think these next two pictures are my favorite from the whole day. It shows how happy they are!

All about family

I really enjoyed photographing this family of 7! I have never done pictures at Mesa Center for the Arts but I really liked it. The only drawback is there were about 5 other photographers there doing the same thing but it still worked out fine. I enjoyed seeing the unique personalities come out from each of these kiddos. They were a fun bunch of kids.
