Free photo session
I discovered that photographing a family I have never met is just as fun as photographing a family that I am friends with. It was really fun to get a glimpse into this family and see the strong bond that they all share. I am also discovering that each family takes on a personality of it's own and that really plays into how I photograph them. This family was gentle, kind, and loving. The kids were of course adorable, and I enjoyed getting a peak into their personalities. Getting all the kids to look at the camera at the same time proved to be difficult but we managed to get a few keepers. I can't wait to hear what they think of their pictures! The best part of my photography is hearing the feedback from my clients. That is what keeps me loving what I do!

I held her when she was just a babe!
And now she is turning into quite the babe! Yes, I can't believe it but I held this sweet girl when she was born and now here we are almost 13 years later and she is turning into such a beautiful young lady. Her little sister is quite the "babe" too and together they created beautiful pictures! Their mom and I have been friends since Kindergarten so we have a long lasting friendship that has grown over the years. She is one of my longest and dearest friends. It was such a fun time doing their pictures. We did these at an AMAZING place in north Scottsdale called Silver Leaf. This will probably be my only opportunity to ever shoot there since it is a gated and very secure community and you can't get in just because you want to. You have to know someone and they have to know you are coming. This family have friends that live in the neighborhood so that is how we got in. It is simply gorgeous!

Such sweetness
engagement then wedding and now family
First came their engagement photos, then came their wedding photos, and now came their first family photos. We did these at the Mesa Center for the Arts.

FUN family!
This family was so much fun to photograph. I love how their pictures turned out! I can't get over how darling their children are and I love their personalities. I think I did a pretty good job of capturing them on film. It really was a fun time and I love walking away from a photo shoot feeling like I accomplished something and get to reward the family with some lasting memories. It was so hard to only choose a few of my favs, so this is the best I could do narrowing it down!

This one just gives me the giggles!

Fantastic Family
I really love this family! The mom and I became friends several years ago when we were placed at the same MOPS table. Our friendship grew and our families became close after starting up a small group. We have watched their family grow, they now have FOUR kids! I did their photos at Tonto National Park Recreation area off of Power Road north of Thomas. It is a great picture spot. I love all the trees!
