This is probably one of my favorite photo shoots yet because of the photos towards the end of this post. Not only did I get to take pictures of this Senior on his dirt bike, but I found a new location to do pictures as well, a little road off of Lehi that will be perfect for sunset pictures and pictures with mountains in the background. The dirt bike pictures were really fun, I'm really happy with the images I captured. We also did his dressy and casual photos at Mesa Center for the Arts. This senior is the son of one of my friends. They have 5 boys and 1 girl. This particular son is their tallest one coming in at 6 feet 7 inches. Yes, I brought my step stool with me and it came in very handy!

Smile!
Something very special happened at this photo shoot, this sweet new babies mom had just got done telling me that he hadn't had his first smile yet and as I was taking my very first picture of him, he gave me this HUGE grin! It melted my heart and made my day! A friend of mine bought this photo shoot from me to give to her neice at her baby shower. I had such a great time meeting this sweet little man, his mom and his dad.
This picture just cracks me up, it looks like he was in the middle of telling me something very important.

MLB Players
A few weeks ago, our church hosted a free baseball clinic for the community featuring Adrian Gonzolez who plays for the Boston Red Sox. There were several MLB players who were there and probably about 800 kids. It was so much fun. I wish I could name all the players but baseball is not a "smart" area for me. I know they are all pretty popular though! I love how being a photographer has it's perks, like having a front row seat to these "famous" players. While I was taking pictures a man came up to me who represents a hispanic baseball league on the west side, he asked if I could email him a few pictures and he is going to use them in a hispanic magazine and newpaper he writes for. So all in all, this turned into a pretty good gig!
Aqua Tots publicity photo shoot
A few weeks ago I did a photo shoot for Aqua Tots, a swim school that our friends own. They needed some updated photos to use for their publicity. It was so fun and the best part is I got to use my kids as models. I am in love with these three pictures of them. They melt my heart. Just the first three are of my kiddos while the other ones are just a few of my favorites. I think I took close to 500 photos, but luckily I didn't have to edit them. I can't wait to see the finished product(s)!
40 years of marriage
40 years ago today, they said "I do." Their daughter (a friend of mine) called me to see if I could do a special photo shoot for her parents anniversary. It was my pleasure to meet this sweet couple and photograph them on such a special day. We did their photos at the mormon temple in downtown Mesa. Although I am not LDS, I seem to have some practice taking pictures at the temple. I photographed two mormon families at this location before Christmas so this was my third photo shoot there. This location was very special to this couple as they were married here 40 years ago almost to the exact time that we were doing their photo shoot. What I loved most about this photo shoot was seeing the love these two share after 40 years of marriage.
