*B* Family- The Grove

It's always fun wrapping up a busy photography season with such an awesome family. This family is AWESOME! You can feel the love that goes around. I'll let the pictures speak for themselves.

Wonderful neighbors

When we moved into our house 14 years ago we had no idea how wonderful our neighbors would be. We've been blessed many times over by such wonderful neighbors. Not only are they neighbors but they are our friends too! The sweet couple that lives across the street from us hired me to do their extended family photos while all their kids were in town for an early Christmas. We met at a neighborhood park. I always love taking pictures of extended families, there is something so special about seeing everyone come together for the sake of a pictures for the memory books. Here is what we came up with.
Our neighbors!
They have four boys, here is one of their sons with his brand new wife. :)
Another one of their sons with his adorable family.
Another son and his very nice looking family.
 The big group shot.
This is what we got when photographing Grandma and Grandpa with all their grandkids. This is life, a lovely life, this picture makes me grin from ear to ear. I love it!
I just love the look on each and every face.

Winter Formal

It was just yesterday she was playing in our front yard with piggie tails and missing her two front teeth. Fast forward 10 years later and I'm photographing her for the winter formal high school dance. I blinked and our neighbor girl grew up. So crazy how that happens. I photographed seven couples who were all going to the dance. The time of the photo shoot wasn't the greatest as far as lighting. We couldn't start until 5 p.m. but most people couldn't come until 5:30 p.m. which meant I was pretty much shooting in the dark, the very dark dark. But the teens seem to be perfectly satisfied with their pics. They aren't hard to please at this age. :)

They could only be serious for so long and then things needed to get silly!

This was a first

I've done photos for companies before, mainly smaller companies that our friends own. I've done some publicity shots for Aqua Tots and I've also done some for Pure Concessions. During those shoots I did a few product shots that didn't involve people but for the most part I photograph people cause people are entertaining and fun. Last week I got a call from a friend who works for a major grocery food chain here in Arizona and he asked me if I would be interested in doing a photo shoot for their soybean line. Say what? Yes, I was asked to photograph grocery store displays. The pay was nice and I always love branching out into other avenues of photography so why not! It was actually fun and the people I needed to impress with the photos were very impressed. The photos I took will be used to show the farmers how their money is being used to market soybeans:) Here are just two photos of what I was photographing.

*K* Family- The Grove

The Grove is becoming quite the popular place for pictures. I counted at least 10 photographers doing pics at the same time I was there. Luckily the grove is big enough so we weren't fighting for space but I've never been at a location where there have been so many photographers at the same time! This sweet family is returning clients of mine, I believe this was our third photo shoot together.

*S* Family- Mesa Arts Center

I love returning clients, this family and I have spent many photo shoots together. Their little boy is one of the cutest boys ever and loves to ham it up for the camera. I always enjoy our time together.

*G* Family- Mesa Arts Center

One of the things I love about photography is capturing the personalities of the families I photograph. I love the sweet smiles and fun faces these cute kids made during our photo shoot. Why not capture kids exactly how they are, candid and all. We did these photos at Mesa Arts Center. Such a fun place for pictures.
