I've always loved telling a story through pictures and this is no exception. My cousin and her husband announced their pregnancy at our Thanksgiving feast. I'll let the pictures tell the story. Next to my cousin (the red head) is her mom and her mother in law. Her mother in law read a little note announcing the pregnancy and the reaction from both the Grandma's to be was so fun to capture on camera. It was a special moment for our whole family.

M family
I've been friends with this family for many years now. We met when their twin daughters were toddlers in the same Sunday school class as our middle child and here they are, freshman in high school! Time really does fly doesn't it! I've taken their photos many times in the past and am always so thankful for repeat customers, that tells me I must be doing something right. They now have a total of 5 kids and it was great to see them all together having fun. We did their photos at Tempe Beach Park, such a fun place with some great backgrounds. I may have fallen in love with the dreamy blue eyes of their 1st grader, could he be any cuter- I mean seriously.

These two lovely people are my sweet neighbors. You can't help but be joyful when you are around them, they have a way of blessing others just by spending time with them. Their love is deep and strong and special, they have a lot of married years together and it's so refreshing to see them still very much in love. I love that they wanted to have pictures taken of just the two of them. They have four grown boys who all have families of their own and I think it's so sweet that they wanted to take the time to have some photos to celebrate each other and their marriage. Here are a few pictures from their photo shoot at a location in Gilbert that they chose for their session.

The mom in these pictures is one of my oldest and dearest friends and I love her dearly. We met in Kindergarten and have remained friends ever since (that's a lot of years of friendship, somewhere around 36 years). I'm so thankful for her friendship and that she has allowed me to take her family photos over the years. She has done an amazing job raising her two beautiful girls and they are always a delight to photograph. They brought their cute dog, Paisley, to the photo shoot this time and she made it active and so much fun! We laughed a lot at all the funny things she did. We did their photos in downtown Mesa.

This fabulous group of people are my lovely neighbors, well two of them anyways as they are now empty nesters (insert sad face). When they moved into our neighborhood several years ago, they were busy raising their four kids, they youngest was 5 at the time and now two are married with kids and their youngest is at college! Talk about making me feel old. I love the theme they chose for their family photos, it created a light and fun mood for their session! We had a great time. Location is the ever popular Riparian Preserve.

I had a great time with this family! I love how their pictures turned out, talk about a nice looking family! We did their photos at Riparian Preserve (a popular place for photos this year). I first met the mother of this bunch many years ago when she was a mentor mom in our MOPS group at church. At that time, her daughters were teenagers and here they are married with their own children. The father is actually our foot doctor and since our family seems to injure our feet a lot, we've visited his office often and always enjoy our visits with him. They are such a great family and I'm glad I got to take their first ever family photos with the entire crew while they were all together for the Thanksgiving holiday!
