I would like to introduce you to my other new location for this photo season. Coon Bluff is right outside of the city but you feel like you've stepped into another realm. It's just 6 miles north on Power past Thomas Road. And then it's a mile off Bush highway once you make your exit. Nestled back by the Salt River you will find a lot of trees, a vertical rock wall, some natural paths through the trees, and of course the Salt River as the backdrop. It's simply breathtaking. A few things you need to consider if you choose this location for your family photos is that closed toed shoes are a must because we did see a few fire ant hills. And when you wear closed toed shoes be prepared to get them a little dusty. The ground is so dry and the dirt is very fine so it doesn't take much to get them dusty. There are a few low lying branches and tree trunks that families could sit down on for a sitting shot and if a family would like to sit on the ground for a few shots, a blanket would be a must. This location would show best at the golden hour, which is the hour before sunset. It casts such a beautiful glow that time of evening. Here are some pictures to share with you, my sons went with me so they were my models in a few of the pictures.
